In accordance with recent Government guidelines regarding the coronavirus it is with great regret that we, the Trustees of Belvoir Vale RDA, have suspended all RDA riding activities at Belle Vue stables from immediate effect. This decision has been taken with a heavy heart, but our priority as always is the safety of our riders, volunteers and supporters.

BELVOIR VALE RDA sent a team of 6 riders and two ponies, ALI and Roma to the Regional Dressage competition. It was an extremely cold and busy day but the ponies and all the riders were on top form and came home with handfuls of rosettes.
LOUISA and KAYLA both won their respective classes so have qualified for the National Championships at Hartpury in July. Barnaby was a very close 3rd in his class so just missed out on qualification this time. Chellie, Sophie and Joshua all performed lovely tests and came 4th, 3rd and 5th respectively.
Huge thanks must go to Scropton RDA for allowing us to hire two of their horses, Babs and Hercules, for the competition.

4 riders represented the group at the inaugural North Midlands RDA Show Jumping Competition. Joshua riding Pumpkin, Kira on Babs (hired from Scropton) and Louisa riding Hercules (also hired from Scropton) all rode extremely well and came 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively in the Led Level 1 class.
Sophie was the star of the team and jumped a great round to win the Led Level 2 class on Zeus very kindly lent by Scropton.
It was a great day out for our riders and their families and very special thanks go to all the Team at Scropton RDA for making us so welcome.

Belvoir Vale RDA would like to say a big thank you for the money raised recently by The Hungry Horse Pubs. Organised by Dennis Ashcroft in liaison with The Wolds on Loughborough Rd, West Bridgford and Sherwood Manor Public House, Mansfield Rd. Events included head shaves, chest waxing and a charity walk.
Dennis and Assistant Manager of Sherwood Manor, Tom Greenway visited RDA to hand over the money raised (£1335.02) and meet Roma – the pony that will be bought by Belvoir Vale RDA with some of these funds.
